These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of The Harlot Pages (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”) by advertisers, agencies, businesses, creators, venues, clubs, and other commercial users who create listings, purchase memberships, advertise services, promote businesses, or otherwise use commercial features of the Platform.

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, submitting content, publishing a listing, or using any advertiser features, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms operate alongside our:

  • Website Terms of Use;

  • Privacy Policy;

  • Trust & Safety Guidelines;

  • Listing Guidelines;

  • Any additional policies published by us from time to time.

Adults Only Requirement

All advertisers, agencies, account holders, and persons appearing in listings must be at least 18 years of age.

By using the Platform you warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;

  • Any person represented in your content is at least 18 years old;

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;

  • All information provided is accurate and truthful.

We reserve the right to request age verification at any time.

Nature of the Platform

The Harlot Pages is an advertising, directory, discovery, and promotional platform.

We:

  • Do not employ advertisers;

  • Do not manage bookings;

  • Do not provide services advertised by users;

  • Do not act as an agent for advertisers;

  • Do not process or guarantee transactions between users;

  • Do not guarantee enquiries, bookings, income, visibility, rankings, or business outcomes.

All interactions occur directly between advertisers and visitors.

Memberships & Listings

An active membership is required to publish and maintain listings on the Platform.

Membership features, pricing, inclusions, visibility levels, image limits, placement benefits, and promotional opportunities may vary depending on the selected plan.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify membership features;

  • Introduce new membership plans;

  • Retire existing plans;

  • Adjust pricing;

  • Change platform functionality.

Any changes will apply prospectively and will not affect periods already paid for unless required by law.

Membership Renewals & Cancellation

Memberships may be offered on recurring or fixed-term billing cycles.

You are responsible for maintaining valid payment details where applicable.

You may cancel future renewals at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law.

Fees & Payments

All fees are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.

Payments may be processed through approved third-party payment providers.

You agree that:

  • Fees are payable in advance;

  • Failed payments may result in suspension of services;

  • Chargebacks may result in account suspension;

  • We may recover unpaid fees where legally permitted.

You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your business activities.

Refund Policy

Unless required by New Zealand law, memberships, advertising purchases, featured placements, banner advertising, promotional products, and other digital services are generally non-refundable once activated.

Refund requests may be considered at our sole discretion where:

  • A duplicate payment has occurred;

  • A technical issue prevents service delivery;

  • Exceptional circumstances exist.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable legislation where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.

Advertiser Responsibilities

Advertisers are solely responsible for:

  • Their listings;

  • Their content;

  • Their images;

  • Their descriptions;

  • Their pricing;

  • Their availability claims;

  • Their communications;

  • Compliance with applicable laws.

You warrant that all information submitted is accurate and not misleading.

Content Ownership & Permission

You retain ownership of content that you submit.

However, by submitting content to the Platform, you grant The Harlot Pages a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

  • Host;

  • Store;

  • Display;

  • Reproduce;

  • Optimise;

  • Publish;

  • Promote;

  • Distribute;

such content for the operation and promotion of the Platform.

You warrant that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it;

  • The content does not infringe third-party rights;

  • Any person featured has consented to publication.

Consent & Authority

You may only publish content relating to individuals who have knowingly consented to being advertised.

Where acting as an agency, manager, venue, club, or representative, you warrant that you hold authority to publish:

  • Names;

  • Images;

  • Likeness;

  • Descriptions;

  • Pricing;

  • Contact information.

Listings published without appropriate authority may be removed immediately.

Verification

The Harlot Pages may request verification information at any time.

Verification requests may include:

  • Identity verification;

  • Age verification;

  • Ownership verification;

  • Right-to-work confirmation;

  • Additional supporting documentation.

Failure to comply may result in:

  • Delayed approval;

  • Reduced visibility;

  • Listing suspension;

  • Account termination.

Verification badges indicate that additional checks have been completed but do not constitute endorsement or guarantee.

Prohibited Content & Services

Advertisers must comply with all Trust & Safety Guidelines and Listing Guidelines.

The following may not be advertised, promoted, implied, requested, or facilitated through the Platform:

  • Natural services or services without appropriate protection;

  • Unsafe sexual practices;

  • Services involving minors;

  • Human trafficking;

  • Exploitation;

  • Coercion;

  • Violence;

  • Threats;

  • Illegal drugs;

  • Fraudulent conduct;

  • Illegal activities;

  • Any activity prohibited by law.

Attempts to circumvent these restrictions through coded language, abbreviations, symbols, images, or indirect references may result in immediate enforcement action.

Reviews & Ratings

Users may submit reviews where enabled.

Reviews may be:

  • Moderated;

  • Delayed;

  • Edited for formatting;

  • Removed;

  • Rejected.

We are not required to publish any review.

Advertisers acknowledge that reviews may contain opinions expressed by users.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of reviews.

Search Rankings & Visibility

The Platform may display listings using factors including:

  • Membership level;

  • Featured status;

  • Verification status;

  • Geography;

  • Relevance;

  • User behaviour;

  • Platform algorithms.

We do not guarantee any particular ranking, placement, exposure level, or search position.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate listings or accounts where we reasonably believe:

  • These Terms have been breached;

  • Trust & Safety Guidelines have been breached;

  • False information has been supplied;

  • Verification requirements are not met;

  • Payments have failed;

  • Legal concerns arise;

  • Safety concerns arise;

  • Platform integrity is threatened.

Urgent action may be taken without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

All Platform branding, software, databases, layouts, systems, trademarks, graphics, and proprietary content remain our property or that of our licensors.

You may not:

  • Copy;

  • Reproduce;

  • Scrape;

  • Reverse engineer;

  • Commercially exploit;

  • Redistribute Platform content without written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Harlot Pages is not liable for:

  • Lost profits;

  • Lost income;

  • Loss of business opportunities;

  • Loss of data;

  • Reputation damage;

  • Third-party conduct;

  • Scams;

  • Fraud;

  • Booking disputes;

  • Payment disputes;

  • Service outcomes;

  • Off-platform interactions.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You indemnify and hold harmless The Harlot Pages, its owners, operators, contractors, affiliates, and representatives against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform;

  • Your content;

  • Your listings;

  • Your conduct;

  • Your breach of these Terms;

  • Your breach of applicable laws.

Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
