The Harlot Pages (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to operating a lawful, professional, adult-only advertising platform.
This Advertising Standards Policy sets out the rules and expectations for all advertisements, listings, promotional content, profiles, featured placements, reviews used in marketing, and any commercial material published on or through the Platform.

You must not publish:

- manipulated results claims;
- deceptive availability statements;
- inaccurate pricing intended to mislead users.
- Identity & Representation
Advertisements must accurately represent the person, business, or service being promoted.
You must not:
- impersonate another person or business;
- use another person’s identity;
- create fake agency brands;
- falsely claim affiliation, endorsement, or partnership;
- misrepresent who will provide services.
- Images & Media Standards
Images, videos, logos, and media used in advertising must:
- be lawfully owned or used with permission;
- accurately represent the advertiser or offering;
- not infringe copyright, privacy, or image rights;
- not contain deceptive edits likely to materially mislead users;
- comply with Platform content standards.
We may remove low-quality, stolen, misleading, or unauthorised media.
- Pricing Transparency
Where pricing is displayed, it should be reasonably clear and not misleading.
Advertisers must not use:
- bait pricing;
- hidden mandatory charges;
- false “special today only” urgency claims;
- prices known to be unavailable;
- deceptive comparative pricing.
Prices may change, but should be updated promptly.
- Availability & Performance Claims
You must not falsely claim:
- guaranteed availability;
- guaranteed response times;
- guaranteed outcomes;
- false demand scarcity;
- false rankings;
- false awards or credentials.
Business results vary and should not be overstated.
- Reviews, Testimonials & Social Proof
Any reviews or testimonials used in advertising must be genuine and not misleading.
You must not:
- buy fake reviews;
- create your own fake testimonials;
- post competitor attacks disguised as reviews;
- selectively edit testimonials to create a false impression.
We may remove suspicious or unverifiable reviews.
- Respectful Advertising
Advertising must not include:
- hate speech;
- discriminatory abuse;
- threats;
- harassment;
- degrading targeted attacks;
- defamatory allegations about others;
- content likely to incite violence or unlawful conduct.
- Prohibited Advertising
We may reject advertising that promotes or appears to promote:
- unlawful activity;
- trafficking or coercion;
- scams or fraud;
- impersonation;
- stolen content;
- underage themes;
- malware or malicious links;
- serious reputational risk to the Platform.
- Compliance with New Zealand Law
Advertisers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including where relevant:
- Fair Trading Act 1986;
- Privacy Act 2020;
- Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015;
- Copyright Act 1994;
- consumer and contract laws;
- any relevant regulatory obligations.
Use of the Platform does not transfer legal responsibility to us.
- Featured Placements & Paid Promotions
Purchase of featured placement, spotlight products, or boosted visibility does not guarantee:
- clicks;
- enquiries;
- bookings;
- revenue;
- ranking permanence;
- business success.
Placement may affect visibility but outcomes vary.
- Editing, Refusal & Removal Rights
We may, at our discretion:
- refuse advertisements;
- request edits;
- correct obvious formatting issues;
- delay publication;
- remove ads;
- suspend campaigns;
- require verification;
- terminate advertiser access.
We are not required to publish all submitted advertising.
- Monitoring & Enforcement
We may review advertising through:
- manual moderation;
- complaint reports;
- automated checks;
- verification requests;
- quality audits.
Repeated breaches may lead to permanent removal.
- Liability Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- advertisers are solely responsible for their advertising content;
- we are not responsible for claims made by advertisers;
- we do not guarantee business outcomes from advertising.
Nothing excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Changes to this Policy
We may update this Advertising Standards Policy at any time.
Updated versions take effect when published on the Platform.
Continued advertising may constitute acceptance of updated standards.
